Days 45, 46, 47, 48 and 49

As you can see from the heading it’s been a while since my last post but I  have been  busy. So let’s start with Friday spin class. There was a new guy that did the class and even though I’ve always said that the usual guy almost kills me, he is nothing in comparison. I genuinely felt like I was going to pass out, there wasn’t as much resistance training but that was swapped for almost non existent breaks… I was so glad that it was over!

Saturday – I did that women’s health training I posted about few posts back. Squads, push ups, jumping jacks (or star jumps), squads thrusts, lunges, leg raises – the lot. Tom even joined me for most of it, but he’s legs weren’t feeling top notch during the following two days…

Sunday and Monday were a bit of lazy, lounging days. Literally went on couple of walks but my excuse is that it was bank holiday weekend 😉

Today I had a lovely body pump session with a definite focus on the upper body which is great in the long term as my upper body isn’t great but in the very short term – my shoulders are killing me!

So that’s it for now and tomorrow’s day 50, meaning that there are only 10 days left until my holiday!


Day 44

Okay, I was absolutely drained last night. A lot of things are happening at the moment and sometimes I’m struggling to keep up… But after this morning’s circuit class (that’s after I managed to drag myself out of bed and rushed like a lunatic to the gym) I feel great and full with energy and totally ready for my meeting today (okay not totally as I actually need to prepare for it, but I have time :-))

Today’s going to be a great day!

Day 44 done!

Days 41, 42 and 43

So Monday I didn’t manage to go for a basketball training, but did go for body pump on Tuesday and did some shoulder and core exercises today.

I have to say 6 days a week is starting to prove a bit of a tough schedule. I have very busy period at work, getting ready for an exam on Friday, looking for a house and 6 trainings a week… Is just a bit too much for me. The only 2 reasons I keep doing that is because 1 – I’m stubborn and 2 – I’m still writing this blog and I’m not just going to give up.

On the plus side that is now also turned out to be a sort of a countdown to mine and Tom’s holiday!

Off to bed as I have a 5:45am start tomorrow… Hooray?
